Resident Halls
Please be advised that each Residence Hall has different areas for recycling due to fire code violations or lack of space. Recycling containers are located in most Residence Halls within the trash rooms and the individual rooms.
If you would like to submit your ideas for a Recycling Flyer for a specific residence hall, please email it to radosti@tcnj.edu for a recycling prize.
Offices
Each desk area and floor will have a recycling bin.
Single Stream stickers have been added to all recycling containers in offices, if one is missing, please email radosti@tcnj.edu.
Cleaning an Office Area
For a one time large amount of paper recycling, including large amounts of cardboard, please contact Grounds via an online work order. Please allow for 48 hours (during normal business hours) for drop off and/or collection of containers. Please also note that trash can be collected in large amounts using the same procedure.
For electronics (including printers, copiers, fax machines, etc.) and any chemical products purchased by The College of New Jersey that you would like to dispose of, please contact the EHS Lab Safety Manager.
For other items, please contact Finance and Business Services for the potential to sell items.
Academic Buildings
Recycling Containers can be found within rooms or floors of each building.
Outdoor Locations
Recycling containers can easily be found walking around campus and are always next to trash cans. If there is a problem with these containers, email radosti@tcnj.edu.
