GreenTCNJ is an app (About GreenTCNJ) that was created by students to support TCNJ’s green education events and other opportunities for students to learn more about TCNJ’s recycling and environmental and sustainability efforts. TCNJ’s Privacy Policy:

Participate in Sustainability
View and sign up for environment related events, campus resources, and see guidelines for recycling specific materials. Using the app, members of the campus community can view a schedule of upcoming events, view news articles, and scan a QR code to mark their attendance at an event. They can report issues with the application or provide feedback on green initiatives on campus, and can submit requests for new guidelines for recycling specific materials.
How it Works
Download the TCNJ student developed GreenTCNJ app today! https://linktr.ee/greentcnj. After creating an account, the user can log in and have access to all of GreenTCNJ’s functionality. Search the text bar for items that you would like to recycle and see the process on how to recycle that item. These are specific to campus and may be different where you live.

What information does the GreenTCNJ application obtain, and how is it used?
The GreenTCNJ app collects your name and email address in order for you to log into the
application as well as to sign up for events on campus. This information is shared with The
Offices of Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability and Energy Management at The
College of New Jersey via an administrative portal, where they can see a list of users and event
participants.
How do we handle location data?
The GreenTCNJ app does not use or collect any data related to your geographic location.
Can users see their personal data?
Users can see relevant information such as their name, email address, the events they have
signed up for or participated in, and their interests settings. Users may update their settings.
Do you share personal information?
We do not share personal information with anyone other than The Offices of Environmental
Health and Safety and Sustainability and Energy Management at The College of New Jersey for
the purposes of informing community members of upcoming initiatives and events.
Do you use vendors or analytics providers?
No data is shared with any vendors or analytics providers
GreenTCNJ Development
The mobile application has been developed by TCNJ Computer Science undergraduate students under the guidance of Dr. Deborah Knox, and in collaboration with Amanda Radosti, within the Office of Environmental Health and Safety.
